Minster Vets has been providing veterinary care to the pets of York for more than 100 years. Originally based in a converted townhouse in The Crescent Minster has expanded into one of York’s largest small animal practices. Minster has six branches in Tower Court, Crockey Hill, Willow Grove, Copmanthorpe and Haxby, and its main small animal hospital in Salisbury Road. Minster moved the main hospital to its current site at Salisbury Road in 1985. Originally poultry and equine were both treated at this site, but since 1998 Salisbury Road has been a dedicated small animal practice. In 2015, the Salisbury Road practice gained hospital status, the highest level of accreditation, from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
The Small Animal Department of The Minster Veterinary Practice takes pride in looking after all pets in York and the surrounding area. We are all passionate about animals and know that your pet is an important member of the family. Our main surgery in York is at Salisbury Road, with branches at Haxby, Copmanthorpe, Old Earswick and Crockey Hill, ensuring you never have far to travel.
