before we start your project you will receive a works programme so you can see exactly what is going to happen and when. the programme will also show you when you need to have chosen things like your paint colours by. as well as the programme you will receive a breakdown of our estimate so you can see costs associated with each item of work. every fortnight or each month we will invoice you for the percentage of works that have been completed to date. we never ask for money upfront so you are only ever paying for works that have been physically completed. we also give you the option of entering into a formal homeowners building contract which can facilitate an agreed retention on the whole project for example 5% which is held back from each invoice until all works are agreed as fully complete. 2.5% is then held for a period of time after that, so once you have settled in and no defects have arisen you can settle the final amount in the knowledge that all has been thoroughly attended to.
