A variety of therapies are used at Westbank. These include gentle spinal adjustments, deep muscle massage and hands on healing. Westbank deals with current, specific conditions, as well as ongoing health maintenance issues. The ancient art of dowsing is employed in diagnoses and also for the selection of remedies. Since 1988 the centre has been run by John MacManaway, who has added a specialty with animals to the long established human side of the practice. He runs monthly clinics in London and also travels extensively around Scotland.
The ‘Westbank Technique’ was developed by Bruce MacManaway, who also founded the centre. Using gentle and non-invasive therapies it provides effective treatments for a wide range of the physical and emotional conditions found in both humans and animals.
