I was born in Speke Liverpool in 1958 (I know... I look young for my age). I attended local high schools and left education at 18 with 4 “A” levels and joined Whitnalls as a trainee accountant. I became a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant in 1985 and became a Partner in 1986. I am married to Lorraine and we live in Widnes, Cheshire. I am an avid fan of watching and following Everton Football Club both home and away. My wife and I enjoy travelling home and abroad and I am a Member of the National Trust. I joined Whitnalls in 1986 and became a Partner in 2003. I am the Audit Compliance Partner and am responsible for the quality of audit work throughout the Practice. As a member of ACCA I am experienced in all aspects of accountancy and taxation services and in the development of strategies and tax planning for Limited Company clients, Partnerships and Sole Traders. I have extensive knowledge of audit and accounting compliance for owner managed businesses.
