Glyn Woodward is a Building Surveyor, Chartered Building Engineer and Fire Safety Consultant and has been the principal of Woodward Associates since 1987. His specialties include: Surveying properties throughout London and the South East; Advising on Building Defects / Building Pathology; Acting as Party Wall Surveyor under the Party Wall Etc. Act 1996; Carrying out Fire Risk Assessments and providing Fire Safety Training and advice to clients, their staff and to other Surveyors. He also has considerable experience in the surveying & repair of listed & period property. As the co-inventor of the "Neptune†Flood Defence system, he also has considerable experience in advising over flood protection of buildings as well as post flood remediation and repair on properties throughout the UK. He is very fortunate to have had an extremely varied career covering many facets of the Construction, Surveying & Fire Safety Professions which has proven invaluable in being able to provide a wide range of advice to our extensive range of clients. He is further assisted by a network of Chartered Surveyors, Valuers, Engineers and Fire Safety specialists via his membership of the Independent Surveyors and Valuers Association; the Chartered Association of Building Engineers; the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors, the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, the Pyramus & Thisbe (Party Wall) Club and The Fire Protection Association.
