As a proper bike shop with on-site workshop, we add lots of little extras that most retailers don’t. We tape wheels for tubeless use where appropriate, tap/face and ream frames before dispatch and any complete bikes are properly unpacked and checked before dispatch rather than sent out as supplied from the distributor.

We have been building frames, repairing and renovating bikes, frames and wheels for over 30 years. We fix all types of bikes: mountain, touring, racing, time trial, bmx, tandem and electric assisted. We service, repair and renovate aluminium, steel and titanium frames.

Based in Sheffield in the UK Hostile Bicycles is run by riders who understand what’s needed from premium bike frames. All the frames and components are tested and developed on the rough, steep roads and technical trails of the surrounding Peak District National Park. Hostile frames are designed to perform and withstand the steepest rockiest descents whilst being light enough to tackle the most grueling ascents.
