Buy A Bike was established in 1976 as Charnock Richard Cycles, a family owned business. After a few successful years we moved to a new 3 acre site in Charnock Richard, Lancashire.

MK Cycles are a local family owned business that has been established for over 40 years. We are a husband and wife team who love cycling and the outdoors. Ryan looks after everything mechanical and bike related, whilst Laura mans the newly established coffee and cake cafe.

The Bicycle Lounge concept has always been the main vision for Matt Middleton (Owner) My aim is to provide everything to do with the bicycle, from advice, bike fitting, components and clothing, to repairing a puncture on a Monday morning.”

John Geddes was a professional cyclist from Liverpool who excelled in his sport. He was a member of 10 professional teams in his illustrious career, reaching his pinnacle at the 1956 Olympics in Melbourne, winning a bronze medal in the team pursuit on the track. His achievements didn't stop there. He won numerous stages in national and world championships and he also won multiple stage victories on the UK Milk race.
