Born in Cheadle Hulme, I have lived in Verwood since 1995. I successfully stood for election to Verwood Town Council in 1997, became Deputy Mayor in 1999 and had the honour of becoming the Town’s Millennium Mayor in 2000. I eventually stood down from the Council after 10 years loyal service to the Town’s people in 2007.
