We are a small family business, established in 2003. Bob ( ' Tab ' ) retired from the police service after 30 years, much of it as a motorcyclist and vehicle examiner with the Traffic dept. Over the years Bob has covered the best part of 1 million ( ! ) miles on air cooled BMW twins and has worn several out !

Established in 1984, GH Motorcycles is one of the UKs leading Off-Road motorcycle dealers. The business was started over 30 yrs ago, by the current managing director, Gavin Hockey after finishing his schoolboy motocross career. The budding new business initially focused on the small bike learner market and expanded over the years to specialise in off-road motorcycles.

We have been providing Clacton-on-Sea and the surrounding area with a friendly and knowledgable service for over 40 years! We are the districts largest motorcycle and scooter dealer franchise including ROYAL ENFIELD, SINNIS, PEUGEOT, SYM and ROYAL ALLOY SCOOTERS. We are also stockists of AGV, LS2, BOX and HJC helmets. Our large clothing department is extensively stocked with Alipinestars, Oxford leather and textile jackets, jeans, gloves and boots.

Established in 1953 we are a small family run business which has been selling and servicing new and used motorbikes for well over 60 years. We have a large and loyal customer base and we’re proud to say that many of our customers return time after time. With only a small band of staff, we are able to get to know our customers better than most and regularly welcome them in for a chat and a coffee.
