The Montrose Mercantile Golf Club is a private golf club dedicated to providing its members, their families and guests with a warm and relaxed environment whilst maintaining the legacy of our history and traditions. The "Merky", as the club is affectionately know to its members, has just over nine hundred members comprising gents and ladies, ordinary, senior and life junior boys and girls as well as social members.

The course offers a challenge for all level of golfers, the lush fairways and fast undulating greens are beautifully presented in a mature parkland setting with spectacular views of the Angus Glens.

Forfar Golf Club has the 4th oldest 18 hole course in the world and is the very first Club to have an 18 hole course from inception and inauguration. In 1871, Founding member James Brodie invited Tom Morris Snr to Forfar where he laid out an 18-hole golf course.

Edzell Golf Club lies at the gateway to the Grampians in the foothills of the Angus Glens. Indeed the mountains form a backdrop to this lovely heathland/parkland course. The course is located in the beautiful village of Edzell, midway between the cities of Dundee and Aberdeen.

Carnoustie Ladies’ Golf Club was established in August 1873 for the benefit of the wives of the members of the Dalhousie Golf Club. These ladies played over an 18 hole, par 3 golf course which stretched westwards from the Lochty Burn. The course was on land donated for the ladies’ use by a Miss Kinloch.
