Ormonde Fields Golf Club is a Members run 18 hole, par 72 course laid out in 140 acres of parkland located on the Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire border.

Mickleover Golf Club is the only private members golf club in the City of Derby and warmly welcomes visitors and societies. The club is widely renowned for its friendliness and members and visitors alike enjoy the cheerful atmosphere and the excellent food and drink on offer at reasonable prices.

With every hole different and the Bentley Brook meandering through the course to add further interest, Matlock is a regular choice for county and inter-county fixtures and each year welcomes many other visitors — individuals, societies and corporate groups.

Our Objective is to quickly create more (happy) golfers, and our philosophy is to help you liberate your inner natural motion, from putting to full swing. Tucked in the northern reaches of England, Derbyshire has been inhabited by humans from as early as 200,000 thousand years ago. Its once-huge deposit of lead ore, aside from attracting the attention of Roman miners and blacksmiths during the Roman conquest of AD43, also powered the growth of the ancient Kingdom of Mercia, founded by the descendants of the Kings of the Angles, which dominated the British Isles for close to four hundred years before the turn of the first millennium.

The Gaunt Golf Design team has worked together successfully since 2006. Jonathan Gaunt, Director & Senior Golf Course Architect, has more than 30 years of experience in this specialist field, having designed and built more than 40 outstanding golf courses throughout Europe, Africa and North America.

The Chesterfield Golf Club (also known locally as Walton golf club), is a beautiful, well established and wonderfully maintained parkland course set amidst stunning views in North East Derbyshire. You can be assured of a wonderful welcome in our very attractive clubhouse bar, lounge and restaurant which have spectacular views down the 10th and 18th fairways towards the Peak District.

Located in beautiful parkland adjacent to Oakerthorpe Woods and offers not only superb views across local countryside but also a well kept and challenging layout that can be appreciated by all levels of golfer. Our greens are among the best in the county.
