Shoshin Karate Centres was established in 2009 by Instructor Sensei Richard Steen, a full-time qualified instructor with forty years’ experience in the Martial Arts and a registered instructor with the Japan Karate Shoto Federation Scotland and the Scottish Karate Governing Body.
We have clubs all over cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire and Glasgow. Clubs in; Westfield, Glenboig, Abronhill, Kilsyth and Holyrood. We practice WTF (World Taekwondo) which is a full Olympic sport and may have seen at the Olympic Games.
As part of JKS Scotland (currently Scotland’s largest and most successful karate federation) you will have access to a packed events calendar offering additional training from some of the most famous Japanese and Western Karate Instructors. If you are interested in competition there is also many tournaments available as well as a world class squad training programme.
