Hey! Thanks for visiting my website. My name is Jamie Shanks, and I’ve been a pro dog walker since 2010. I’m walking dogs at the beach everyday underneath the Erskine bridge along with other Erskine dog walkers, and if you walk your dog there too then you’ll no doubt have seen me, most likely we’ve met and had a chat. Anyway, let me tell you a bit about my biz and how it started.

Based in and covering East Dunbartonshire, we offer a professional and caring service, tailor-made to suit every highly valued client and their four legged friends.

I've grown up with a passion for dogs. Ever since I could walk, my love and curiosity have led me to learn a lot about different breeds, their history and characteristics, as well as understanding our dog's behaviours and their way of thinking. I trained in 2006 at the Scotgroom Training School in Carluke and then went on to work as a groomer at Wizard of Paws Canine Care Centre in Glasgow. Here, over a 4 year period, I enhanced my grooming skills and worked my way up to become the Head Groomer.

I am a fully qualified Dog Groomer. Qualifications obtained to date:- Dog Grooming Diploma, City & Guilds level 3 and Animal First Aid & CPR. I run a small friendly dog grooming business in Lenzie, East Dunbartonshire. My aim is to provide a calm, caring establishment, and give a quality service and customer satisfaction. I do not rush your dog through the grooming process, dogs are groomed at a comfortable pace.

Based in Barrhead, Glasgow, Taylor Made Activities Ltd is a friendly and fully insured Dog Home Boarding*, Dog Walking, Dog Day Care and Pet Home Visit service that covers Barrhead, Neilston and surrounding areas.

Lomond Home and Pet Care (LHPC) was established in 1999 by Ian, a retired Police Officer and his wife Margaret. The business is now a partnership with husband and wife team Danny & Cathy. Several helpers, who have considerable and varied experience in the care of pets, also assist in the provision of our services.

Angela's Pet Services was established in 2001. The reason behind this choice of profession was because I myself struggled to find adequate care for my dog when I was at work or went on holiday. I realised on talking to friends and family that many people were in the same position.

Mearns Home From Home Dog Boarding, we provide home boarding as a great alternative to traditional boarding kennels. We provide a family run dog boarding service, in which your dog is brought to stay with us for a day, weekend or longer there is no limit to their length of stay. Your dog will stay in our house with our family, and be treated as one of our own pets.
