VioVet Ltd was founded in 2006 by Luke Cousins, the then 16-year-old son of a successful St Albans-based vet and veterinary nurse. The business was initially an experiment to help the family's veterinary practice sell medication and feeds online following a change to the laws governing the sale of prescription medications.

As a loving dog owner I understand the daily needs a dog has to be happy and successful, such as exercise, stimulation and socialisation. Our 4 year old dog Lucy (a whippet springer spaniel cross) keeps me very active and on my feet. So I understand how hard it can be at times caring for our animals with work and other commitments to ensure they are healthy and exercised.

We are delighted to say we are now in a position to take guests in the cattery. We have tailor made, secure, heated cat enclosures with individual runs attached .Your cat is able to see out into our vegetable plot or up the hill, across the field, to the Garleton monument, with lots of wildlife to watch! At the Dog Day Care Centre we believe in freedom and friendship for all dogs and as such we can now offer you full day care for your dog in our open plan centre with over half an acre of securely fenced outdoor play space!

K9 Adventures offers fun training in small classes or on a one-to-one basis for all breeds of dog. Training takes place at our fantastic training venue based just outside of Pathhead Midlothian. We welcome beginners to our training sessions, alongside those who have already had experience of training or agility and are looking for new directions.
