I am well travelled across Scotland capturing weddings and this has also seen me booked for destination weddings abroad. I prefer to capture weddings in a documentary/reportage style…not so many group shots or traditional posed shots. This is a more natural way of capturing your day, the little details, the goings on and a true representation of the day.

I like to shoot as much of the day as it really happens without any directing or promting. Using my experience to anticipate and capture those special moments while you are unaware of my camera. My unobtrusive approach is best suited for couples who wish to capture their wedding in an artistic yet documentary manner vs. spending hours on posed photos. Of course we must do some family photos but not too many.

I’m a freelance photographer based in Inverness, the city in the heart of the beautiful Scottish Highlands. I shoot all of my work in a documentary style, helping to make the most of both the people and the environments in which I photograph.
