I like to photograph on location, using minimal equipment to create a relaxed and creative atmosphere that encourages collaboration.

I’m Andy Currie, a professional photographer based in Gourock, Scotland, who specialises in Weddings, Portraits and small Events photography. I have all of my own teeth and a few modern additions, a full head of increasingly transparent hair, have recently taken to wearing glasses and am probably 6 inches under height for my weight. I’m also Dad to two beautiful and talented daughters, and I’m possibly the youngest looking Grandad you've ever seen.

I‘m a photographer, a dad and a husband. My wife and two children are my world — my life! I’m a night owl and a bit of a romantic but still I grunt and watch action films. I absolutely love my job and can’t imagine ever doing anything else; I get to do what I love and work with people on the happiest days of their lives! What could be better than that?! I hold an Advanced Diploma in Professional Photography. I am a Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photography and a Licentiate with the Master Photographers Association. I am one of the select few photographers in Scotland to hold Licentiateships with both organisations.
