Firstly the Commercial side of my work is spent producing excellent imagery for web site and use in printed literature. Work is produced either in the studio or at a clients premises where portable lighting can be set up easily and without fuss.

I am a creative full time professional photographer with 22 years experience, based in Skipton, North Yorkshire. I absolutely love photographing weddings! I use my skills as a press photographer to capture all the special moments of your wedding day in a truly creative and non-intrusive way.

I am a working mummy with 4 children which has helped so much with working with newborns and children! I absolutely love my job and take great pride in capturing unique and unforgettable moments. Living in the beautiful countryside between Leeds & Harrogate in North Yorkshire on a sheep farm means any spare time I have I photograph the beautiful landscape and animals around us and of course my 4 kids who have their whole life captured on camera!

Joel Skingle Photography is just that — Joel Skingle… but with a secret back up team of his family, who keep him in cups of coffee, packed lunches, ironed chinos & cuddles the morning after a long day! Joel started his business 7 years ago, after studying & working successfully in Graphic Design for the likes of Dunlop, Wella & Hallmark cards. Photography was his most enjoyed part of his degree & this soon translated into the images he took at his first few weddings.

I’m a Ribble Valley valley, near Clitheroe based wedding photographer. I have a little family and we like forest adventures and kitchen dancing. I am a massive wedding fan and passionate about documenting love. Good coffee, cake, music, fresh air and buying shoes keep me going.

Growing up in Scotland meant that I never had to travel very far to find a new and exciting location… most of the time, it was just around the corner. The vast mountainous landscapes of the highlands is where I found my love and passion for photography. I often travelled north to go skiing and mountain biking but that soon changed as I found myself traveling north for a new reason: photography.

I’ve been a professional photographer all my life, working in the family studio for many years and then eventually opening my own studio back in the late 90’s with my wife Fiona. Its been an amazing time especially being at the leading edge of most trends in our industry.
