Chinese medicine is the longest continuous medical system known to man. By the end of the Tang dynasty in the 10th century, five centuries before the birth of Western medicine, the Chinese had already developed a highly comprehensive body of medical knowledge and methods, many of which were far in advance of the West.

Having practiced Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine in Bristol and Wells over the last 26 years I have been lucky enough to see my profession grow from something which people viewed with a degree of scepticism and mistrust to a scientifically validated and universally accepted system of medicine and healthcare.
