I am graduate of the Collage of Integrated Chinese medicine in Reading, gaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture, and receiving a Licentiate in Acupuncture, after a 4 year course in both Traditional Chinese medicine, which initially concentrates on signs and symptoms, and 5 Element Chinese medicine, which approaches healing from the emotional and spiritual aspect.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a medical system which developed in China and evolved down through the centuries, fashioned by Chinese civilisation and culture. It is a holistic system that aims to treat each patient as a whole on an individual basis. The practitioner is able to identify the underlying patters of disease through various diagnostic techniques and prescribe treatments according to the analysis.

I studied acupuncture for three years at The London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine where I also worked in the herbal pharmacy during the last year of my training. I then went on to study Chinese Herbal Medicine at the college for a further two years. As part of my training I took an internship programme in Hangzhou hospital of TCM, the affiliated hospital to Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), China.

I am an Acupuncturist and Herbalist in St Albans, Hertfordshire. For over 15 years I have been combining Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture/Fertility Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine) with massage, Shiatsu, dietary recommendations, life style advice, and breathing method for deep relaxation to give caring, supportive and effective treatment.
