Hawkedon Veterinary Surgery is situated in the beautiful village of Hawkedon just 8 miles from Bury St Edmunds. The surgery is open from 8.30am until 6.30pm every weekday and from 8.30am to 1pm on Saturdays with an emergency service available 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

The practice was originally set up in Cambridge by John Grieve in 1971 and provided care for both pets and farm animals. Over the years the practice has undergone several transformations to become what is now known as Cambridge Veterinary Group. In August 2012 John sold the practice to Lucy Crosby, who has been working as a veterinary surgeon at Cambridge Veterinary Group since 2007.
