The Design Gallery was established in October 2002 by John Masters and Chrissie Masters in a beautiful, exclusive gallery in Westerham, Kent, on the Kent/Surrey border. We specialise in progressive design movements from 1850-1950: Gothic Revival, Arts and Crafts Movement, Aesthetic Movement, Art Nouveau and Art Deco. We also sell a wide range of designer 20th Century vintage jewellery and contemporary silver jewellery by Malcolm Appleby MBE, Britain’s leading Silversmith-Engraver.

Workshop Projects are bespoke furniture and bespoke joinery specialists with over 20 years experience in the industry. Based in Edenbridge, we primarily serve clients in Sussex, Surrey, Kent and London, but also work across the UK and abroad, offering a fully flexible service to suit your requirements.

We welcome you to our barn near Tunbridge Wells to view our extensive range of reclaimed hand-finished teak & oak furniture, finished to your specifications. Your furniture can be hand-painted in your choice of colour or finished from a range of waxes or oils.

We started The Furniture Rooms together in 2004 from great knowledge of Antique Furniture, Now we have moved onto later eras of Art Deco and Mid century Furniture restoring and selling our Antique and retro furniture and accessories through a small store in London.

I’ve been a furniture designer and maker for over 40 years, though I started out restoring antiques. When you work on pieces like a Charles II veneered cabinet in yew or walnut, or a Georgian mahogany table, you get a real insight into just how beautiful wood can be in the hands of a craftsman.
