With over 40 years worth of experience in the industry we’ve done it all, from bespoke shoe and bag making to jacket repairs to theatrical shoes and prop creation, and a dyeing specialist to leather and satin. Our primary focus at the moment is dyeing, we’re able to dye shoes, bags, jackets, leather and satin items and now leather upholstery. Restored to its natural former beauty or a completely new and exciting colour thanks to our very own Dreamcoat® dyes; waterproof, easily applicable and hundreds of colours to choose from.

The Women’s Society opened in the historic town of Hertford back in 2006 and we’ve been working hard ever since to create an award winning boutique. At The Women’s Society we pride ourselves on extraordinary customer service, providing one-to-one style advice with an extensive knowledge of fashion and occasion wear.

Select Fashion is a high-street women’s-wear retailer aimed at 18-45 year olds. With up to 4,000 products (clothing, footwear and accessories), and new lines added each week, Select offers quality products inspired by the latest fashion trends at an affordable price.

CARLTON is one of the leading Designers, Sourcing and Manufacturers of Footwears, producing over 5 million shoes a year to customers across the globe. The family has been producing footwear ever since 1971 and is a major supplier to the UK, and European markets.

In 1984 Gill Ifield became the founder owner of Stage Door. Gill subsequently sold the business to Ernie Almond who renamed the shop Smarty Artie. In turn Ernie sold the business to Gloria Barrett, who reverted the shop’s name back to Stage Door and since 2009 Stage Door has been run by the Margossian family.

We prefer to start where others say “it’s not possible”. We love damaged shoes and bags as we can bring them back to life. We specialise in dyeing and custom design but are very happy to provide traditional repair or resole services as well. Designer and luxury items, rare vintage and new collections are our daily bread, but usual everyday shoes will receive exactly the same treatment. No need to visit us if you live far away, the courier will do that for you.
