Hi my name is Susan Brownlie I am an Ofsted registered childminder with a current police check and paediatric first aid course, I am also a national childminding association member and I am fully insured. I live on the north side of Calne with my husband Peter, who is also police checked and our three children Robina, Amy, Thomas and 2 cats.

Sixpenny Nursery offers all-year-round day care and term time only child care options. The nursery specialises in outdoor learning, play and exercise to produce happy, healthy, active children. In January 2017 we opened our second nursery in Devizes just down the road in Hopton. This nursery is perfectly located for those who might work or live close to the Hopton Business Park.

Happy Days provides a safe and secure learning environment where children can feel confident, express themselves, be creative and develop into confident, independent learners. Our children are treated as individuals with their strengths and needs being recognised and catered for.

Charlton Park is a working farm and home to a variety of animals which are visited regularly whilst on our daily walks in the woods or whilst exploring the vast expanse of fields available to us. Our children love nothing more than outdoor play and collecting ‘treasures’ from the woodland. On occasions we even get to watch aeroplanes and helicopters take off and land on the private airstrip.
