We also live with two cats who are very friendly - Mischief and Soucky - they love children and all the attention they get when children are around. I am a childminder in the Dunfermline area of Fife, Scotland, having had this role since 2007. I am also in the lucky position to be able to say that I ADORE my job! My name is Fiona, I live in Stirling with my husband Stewart and our daughter. I am a Registered Childminder and qualified Nursery Nurse. I completed my HNC in Childcare & Education training in Inverness College 1996-1998. After college, I worked as a nanny in Inverness from 1998-2000, then in a children's soft play centre 2000-2002, followed by another year as a nanny for a different family.

Wee Acorns is a small nursery in Dunblane, Stirling. We aim to provide an environment where children of all ages interact with each other like a family, and we therefore cater for a maximum of 24 children at any one time, and we all share the same room.
