Tweenies are children aged 18 months to 2 years. Each child is individually assessed and follows either the baby or toddler routine depending on which room their development is best suited to. At 18 months some children are happy in the Baby room and are still learning and developing well, while others need to move on to the Toddler room in order to get the most benefit from the setting. Whichever room the Tweenies are in they will always have a ratio of at least 1 member of staff for every 3 children.
