Hilary Hinchcliffe & Susan Ferreira established Dimensions Theatre Dance School” in 1989. From its beginnings, our school has an unsurpassed reputation and passion for delivering high standards of dance lessons and stage classes for all abilities and ages from years 3 upwards in a fun, friendly and caring, yet professional and creative learning environment.

MDC offers a range of dance classes and courses in the city centre for adults, teenagers, kids and childrens classes. Classes range from a beginners level , intermediate and professional level.

South Manchester Dance Academy, formerly known as The Evans School Of Dancing, was established in 1985 by Miss. Judith Thompson. Over the years, Miss. Thompson has created a strong sense of technique and discipline and instilled a love of dance in the many pupils who have passed through the doors.

The Performance Academy was founded in April 2012 by current Principal, Laura Maguire. Her vision is to provide the highest standard of training in dancing, singing and acting and we are extremely proud of our reputation.

At Dance for Fun Studios you will find dance classes in Rochdale Bury and Manchester where you will discover easy to follow dance classes with friendly helpful qualified teachers. As one of the largest Dance Schools for Adults in the area, you can Learn Ballroom and Latin Dancing, Argentine Tango and Sequence Dance. Enjoy learning to Dance with Alan and Ginny in our warm and friendly dance classes in Bury and Rochdale. Dancing has to be fun and enjoyable and that’s what we provide.

Our classes cater for 2½ year olds to adults. We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Theatre craft, Adult tap. We also have showclasses which work towards our yearly show. Our Tots classes run twice a week and are a great way for your little ones to have fun whilst getting some exercise.

Over forty years ago, Diane Beaumont founded our dance school in the Parish Rooms on Church Road in Cheadle Hulme. Fiona joined the school in 1988 and started teaching in 1997. In 2004 Diane retired and Fiona became Principal, and in 2006 we moved to our current premises on Swann Lane.
