To educate, enrich, entertain and reach out to the people of Rossendale, especially young people, by providing the very best resources, teaching staff and experiences available to students of the Performing Arts on an extra curricular basis.

The Dancing School, was founded in 1964 by Stephanie Bridge MBBO; ODTS, MIDTA, Freestyle Teaching Diploma. Stephanie gained membership of the British Ballet Organisation in 1949 at the age of 13. She was a student teacher for Beatrice Shipstone from 1949-1953 teaching ballet, tap and acrobatic daily under supervision and was in sole charge of two 1/2 hour classes a week.

ReAct Academy is a specialist theatre arts school, based in the North West of England. ​ We offer professional training in all aspects of Drama, Musical Theatre, Dance and Music Production for all ages, babies through to adult. Classes are designed to cater for the individual needs of our students, encouraging confidence-building and developing skills and technique within a safe and friendly environment.

At Dance for Fun Studios you will find dance classes in Rochdale Bury and Manchester where you will discover easy to follow dance classes with friendly helpful qualified teachers. As one of the largest Dance Schools for Adults in the area, you can Learn Ballroom and Latin Dancing, Argentine Tango and Sequence Dance. Enjoy learning to Dance with Alan and Ginny in our warm and friendly dance classes in Bury and Rochdale. Dancing has to be fun and enjoyable and that’s what we provide.

We provide dance tuition to children from the age 2 in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Theatre Craft, Musical Theatre and Street dance. Our aim is to provide quality tuition in a friendly, happy learning environment, whilst encouraging each learner to fulfil their greatest potential.

The Janet Lomas School of Dancing, established in 1978, is a traditional classical ballet school offering structured training for boys and girls, aged four to 18 – from beginners through to pre-professional level. In 2017, the school expanded and began offering Silver Swans® adult ballet classes for the over 55s. ​

DC Dance & Performing Arts are a provider of high quality dance, musical theatre, vocal and instrumental tuition. A comprehensive range of classes and tuition are offered to all ages from preschool to adults and be enjoyed by all abilities.
