Lochaber Lassies started as a group of similarly minded ladies who wished to share their enjoyment of, and expertise in, Scottish Dancing with a wider audience.

I've been dancing since I was about 10 years old - a group of us started classes and I stuck it out! I competed (not very seriously) as half of an all-girl partnership as a teenager, then started to study for my teaching qualifications and became an Associate of the IDTA in 1986.
