bEK was formed by Michael Buckley and associates to provide specialist geo-environmental consultancy services to property developers and the construction industry — from initial site appraisals to single services or a full package of services tailored to the specific needs of our client.

Our vision is not to be the ‘biggest’ or ‘fastest growing’ but to be recognised and respected as a high quality practice. To achieve this project work is allocated to technical staff with the appropriate skills and experience to undertake the work.

Both Robert and Ian have worked extensively within the sphere of nature conservation and ecology for approximately 25 years. Both partners have a diverse career background of working in nature conservation organisations and in the commercial sector.
