I have been working in local care homes since 2009, encouraging older people to participate in singing and music-making. This includes homes caring for people with dementia. Singing and improvising with instruments brings joy, creative expression, and physical activity and creates a strong feeling of community.

Element Drum Studio is located in the easily accessible Hove Enterprise Centre. On the seafront, close to Hove Lagoon you will find free on-site parking for the duration of your drum lesson.

I can teach you how to play just about anything on the piano by simply having fun! I have successfully taught a wide variety of students in the East Sussex area over the the last 15 years.

Children enjoy lots of singing, moving and chanting in Kindermusik by Jan classes. They play simple instruments such as chime bars and egg shakers and listen purposefully to a wide range of songs and stories. Our focus and emphasis is always that learning is the process, not the performance!

A range of exciting ‘hands on’ music workshops and extra Curriculum activities from around the world, including Samba drumming, African /Egyptian drumming, Australian Music, Caribbean, Spanish and Junk Percussion. I also run extra curriculum activities for schools, which include a range of percussion work, Music and I.C.T , Ukulele Orchestra and harmonica ensembles.

I offer private singing lessons in the Lindfield and Haywards Heath area for students of all ages and all abilities. Whether you're a keen amateur, a lead singer or a complete novice, I can guarantee a fun approach and fast results.
