Symphony Music is a family-owned musical instrument retailer based in Wigan. Originally established in the local town of Ashton-in-Makerfield in 2007, it organically grew in size and stature before winning a national award in 2009.

I have performed throughout the UK and Europe including playing the flute in the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition and the viola for HRH Queen at the Albert Hall. I have played with groups and orchestras for Radio 4 and on television. I have a 100% pass rate in ABRSM Examinations.

I originally learnt the basics of the violin when I was a boy but in my wisdom, at the tender age of fourteen, I saw myself more of a rock-star than a classical musician and I stopped playing violin in favour of teaching myself guitar. Well....school, work, marriage and a family rather side-stepped my fortunes as a rock god and it was many years later before I was re-introduced to live music by a good friend involved in the local traditional music scene. At that time I didn't even own an instrument!

Paul is a highly qualified practitioner who has much experience in teaching voice. He has been trained by some of the best-known and well-respected vocal tutors in the UK including Andy Follin, Matthew Reeve, Craig Faulkner and Janice Chapman.
