Bunkers Hill Swimming is owned and run by Carol Kibblewhite. It’s a real family affair - her sister Julie Speller helps to manage the business and ALL seven of the children in both their families are qualified swimming instructors. The pool first opened in September 1990. Carol had just finished as a full time PE teacher to start her family and walked past the unused private pool complex daily. When new house owners bought the property ,Carol offered to get the pool running for them and in return be allowed to teach a couple of friends’ children in there.
