Set in the picturesque village of Belford, Northumberland, our house is located in a peaceful situation next to the thirteenth century churchyard of St. Mary's C of E Parish Church.

Welcome to the Mizen Head. The Mizen Head is a delightful country restaurant with rooms nestling on the edge of the famously historic and scenic Northumbrian village of Bamburgh, in the heart of Northumberland’s stunning coastline.

The Beach House is family run and is praised for its relaxed "home from home" atmosphere, which the owners, Malcolm and Hazel, have striven to create. In its idyllic location, the Beach House is set back about 60metres from one of the most beautiful stretches of heritage coastline that Northumberland has to offer. The golden sands stretch to the neighbouring village of Bamburgh and beyond, where one of the most magnificent castles in England can be explored.

England’s northernmost county boasts many fascinating landmarks, including the stately Doxford Hall. A grand, 200-year-old country mansion resplendent in ten acres of private estate, as the only hotel in the county to be awarded the AA’s coveted four red star rating, it’s outstanding for all the right reasons: sumptuous interiors, elegant gardens and superb service.

A warm welcome awaits you at our 17th century stone built home. Whilst it maintains many of its original features it has been refurbished with all the modern comforts of the 21st century.
