The Chichester Hotel is a charming and historic boutique venue which boasts a warm and friendly service for business and leisure travellers and the surrounding community. The hotel takes its name from Sir John de Chichestre who was the original occupant of Chichester Hall, a 13th century moated farmhouse which still survives to this day.

This friendly family run hotel is situated in the centre of the riverside town of South Woodham Ferrers. Close to the River Crouch, we have 36 en suite rooms and is open all year round for business or pleasure. There is accommodation to suit all needs, including singles, twins, doubles, triples and family rooms.

Set within four acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, this classic Georgian Manor has been owned by the family for the last quarter of a century and over that time our reputation for exceptional service, friendliness and attention to detail has grown and grown.

It has 75 guest rooms and suites and caters for the needs and tastes of different groups or people. The Hotel complex occupies an area of approximately seven acres and is located in the heart of South East Essex business community adjacent to London Southend airport.

A substantial continental breakfast is provided in the room for the first night. We cater for special diets. Arrangements for additional nights are made individually with guests according to their requirements. There is no full English breakfast available.

Located directly on the River Thames in the heart of the historic market town of Gravesend, this stunning building was built in 1665 by the Duke of York. Operating as a hotel since 1842 we've had many important visitors, including the Duke of Wales in 1863, when he greeted Princes Alexandra and her family to the UK shores before marrying her.
