We believe this is why so many of our patients return year on year and decade on decade for their eyecare and why over 90% of our new patients come to us from reccomendations from patients delighted with our service and value. A Smith Opticians started life in November 2013 when our longstanding optometrist, Alan Smith, took ownership of the practices. Alan has been our sole practicing optometrist since January 2008. Despite recent changes we can trace our origins and history as a practice back over 55 years and into the 1960s. This makes us one of the longest established practices in Yorkshire.
