I have more than 25 years’ experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist, in private practice and within GP practices. Additionally I am employed by several commercial companies and Employee Assistance Schemes. Previously I have also been a student counsellor at two universities, a volunteer counsellor at the Leicester Counselling Centre and a lecturer responsible for various levels of the Leicester University counselling training. I have an MA in Integrative Psychotherapy and am a registered psychotherapist with the UK Council for Psychotherapy as well as a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I therefore abide by a Code of Ethics and Practice and as required by this Code my counselling work is regularly supervised.

From this you will be in a position to identify and move towards actions that help you deal with your experiences, or find ways of coping with things you cannot or do not wish to change.
