Here's why. At the start of a new relationship things generally go well of course, but inevitably over time things happen and your circumstances change. For example, you have a child, then another, you move house or change jobs. Some changes are welcome and planned for. Others aren't, such as illness, redundancy, ageing. But whether the change is one you want or one you don't, dealing with it can put strain on your relationship while you adjust to your new situation. Counselling provides a time and space to think things through. My name is Barbara Kelly and I've been a couples counsellor and psychotherapist in Faversham since 1997. I serve clients from all over East Kent, in particular Whitstable, Sittingbourne and Canterbury. I'm committed to providing a professional counselling and psychotherapy service in a confidential and non-judgemental environment.
Life can be tough sometimes but most of life's worries can be faced if everything is alright at home. If your relationship is going through a rough patch it can make everything else seem so much harder to cope with. If that's how you're feeling right now, relationship counselling with me might be the answer.
