My name is Georgie Bassford and I've lived with my husband and three children in Bath since 2003 and taught yoga here since 2004. I don't teach a specific style of yoga, although over the years I've developed specialisms in pregnancy, postnatal yoga and women's health, as well as yin yoga. I bring to my classes whatever new ideas I'm learning, share my inspirations and try new things. And I am still learning. Of course! "You teach best what you most need to learn" Richard Bach It's very important to me honest and authentic, to keep studying the ancient wisdom as well as the latest understanding about the mind and body and to bring this to my classes. I particularly am inspired by the work of people Gary Carter of Natural Bodies, a world authority in the field of fascia and myofascial (muscle) within a yoga context and am always love anyything by Katy Bowman of Nutritious Movement.
