Hello and welcome to Davenport House Clinic. My name is Tony Gavin and together with my wife Becky we opened our first clinic, Davenport House Clinic in 2008. I am a Podiatrist and at the time of opening the clinic Becky was a Chemical Engineer who spent much of her time in chemical plants. Our vision was to open a private Podiatry and Physiotherapy clinic in Becky’s home town of Stalybridge, but it had to fill us with pride. Davenport House was built in 1858, and is a handsome Victorian Villa with rooms that are grand and spacious, it’s true, they just don’t build buildings like this anymore. It was love at first sight when we saw it, it just had to be here… Lots of hard work and 6 months later the clinic was ready to open its doors, with us living on site at first. It was really important that as part of the community we built a business that reflected our professionalism and offered something we wanted in our community.
