Sharon is an ex-professional ballet dancer from South Africa and has always had an interest in the workings of the human body. After retiring as a ballet dancer, she travelled around Europe for a few years and had the opportunity to work in the Red Sea resort of Dahab where she lived for 7 years teaching scuba diving and furthermore operated a sport therapy practice treating a variety of athletes from windsurfers, scuba divers and yoga individuals. Whilst in Dahab Sharon gained her Advanced Trimix diving certification and dived to 100m in the world famous Blue Hole.
Sharon qualified as an Osteopath at the British School of Osteopathy in London obtaining a Masters Degree in Osteopathy. She treated patients in a general clinic in London for two years and in a number of specialist clinics including patients with HIV, pregnant ladies, elderly and disabled patients. In 2014 she qualified as a Medical Acupuncturist and in 2006 qualified as a level 5 Sport Therapist.
