Our business is a real family affair started in Bristol by three generations of the Ball family in Grandad John’s garden shed.
John, Andy & Ryan all worked together undertaking seating repairs and recovering for buses and coaches. In the early days, this was part-time work on evenings and weekends alongside John and Andy’s regular jobs but Ryan had a burning passion for business from a young age and so took the plunge to take on the business full time and learn the trade alongside his Grandad, driving it forward from our garden shed to what we are today. More and more of our customers call on us to help with acoustic panel work where they require bespoke panels to absorb sound to create a quiet area. Here we have the skills and knowledge to create bespoke acoustic panels for any requirement. We have worked in popular areas such as schools and universities as well as more unusual projects for the MOD where we have supplied acoustic panels to go inside large generators.
21st Century Building Services contacted us regarding a refurbishment they were involved with carrying out at Bristol University Richmond Building. They had 6 booths to create, which required acoustic foam and fabric to help reduce the noise travelling between booths and to the surrounding rooms. Freshen up your conservatory! Conservatory cushions are often subjected to a lot of sunlight and consequently, the fabric can fade or even damage from the UV rays. Here at South West Upholstery, we can upholster your existing cushions or supply brand new cushions. We can also upholster any fixed upholstery on the furniture that you have in your conservatory, sunroom, or summer house. Choose from a selection of UV resistant fabrics that have a high rating against fading and damage from UV rays.
If you require new foam cushions we can create these from templates, drawings, or measurements, which you can either email to us, call, or pop in-store to discuss your requirements with one of our Sales Team. Any shape and size are possible, as we make the cushions to order every time. Simply supply a template of your seating area to make sure of a snug fit, and potential issues such as curves and cut-outs disappear. Our conservatory cushion service is available to you wherever you are in the UK, and we can provide a quotation with rough sizes and even send free samples of suitable fabrics directly to your door. You can also try our foam samples at one of our showrooms to find the comfort level that suits you best, all in a friendly, no-pressure environment.
