I began practising yoga in 1993. My teacher training was with British Wheel of Yoga and I completed a 1 year Foundation Course followed by the 3 year Diploma course in 2004. I continue to develop and deepen my own practise and attend continuous training as I believe that experience and developing knowledge is essential to good teaching. (see more about me on tutors page) Classes Available: Although my interest is with a modern interpretation of Hatha Yoga, and we specialise in Traditional Hatha Yoga, the studio offers many different styles of yoga. Several of the tutors are my long term colleagues and friends, who have been teaching for many years, who share my ethos, and have been teaching at the studio since we opened.
My intention was to create a peaceful, holistic, homely and yet professional space in which to share my yoga passion and interest (see studio). Although the studio can take up to 18 students, we like to keep classes small and intimate and most have around 8 to 12 attendees.
