Grand Extreme started life in 2003 over a beer or two at the end of a day’s paragliding on the South Downs. We wanted a club for people like us, who enjoy living life to the extreme. The club combines our passion for motorcycling with extreme sports such as white water rafting, quad biking and paragliding, plus plenty of great sight-seeing. As we both like France almost as much as we do our motorbikes, it was natural to base most trips there.

Bland boasts significant automotive and motorcycle industry experience, after previously holding senior international and European motorcycle marketing roles with Harley-Davidson, Triumph, and Honda, plus 11 years in sales and marketing roles with Volkswagen UK. Bland is also a Chartered Marketer and a fellow of the Institute of Data and Marketing (F IDM).

The Motorcycle Man Limited is a small, independent motorcycle workshop offering MOT testing and competitively priced servicing, repairs, modifications and rebuilds for motorcycles of all makes and models, ranging from vintage and classic through to modern motorcycles and scooters.

The John W Groombridge Motorcycles site at Cross in Hand has been a landmark on the A267 Eastbourne to Tunbridge Wells road since 1951 and has been an official Suzuki dealer since 1963. Since the new owners took over from the Groombridge family in 2006, there has been a programme of change in order to offer customers from far and near a one-stop shop for eveything they could want for their bike and for themselves to wear, but without losing the friendly feel of being a small business with many loyal customers who come in again and again.
