I have been an IT professional since the mid-1980s. In the early years, in addition to my technical role, I often found myself acting as teacher or helper — and I enjoyed it. In my spare time I helped business colleagues, friends and relatives to purchase, set up and use their PCs. This activity grew and since 2002 I have run it as a small business around Knutsford.
