Rakesh and Peter started their Karate journey as young children in the mid 1980's. They trained at their local club in Letchworth and regularly visited other clubs in the association. They graded to black belt in their teens. Peter established his first club in Hertford (1994) and Rakesh in Hatfield (1996).

I manage this blog with passion and to kill boredom. From the very beggining I concentrate on providing knowledge and give a tips to my readers, which they will be able to use. I create, because I like it, moreover I try to improve my own skills — wherefore I am open for any remarks, as well as furthermore criticism, but naturally only healthy.

The program was based on how to do” and becoming aware of internal feelings. This involved about 18 hours of actual training with a good measure of discussion on top. Given that this was the first Tai Chi workshop for most people the level of enthusiasm and staying power was notable — with even those who had previously chosen to do only the introductory section now deciding to learn the whole Laojia form.

We are a Kung Fu school based in Biggleswade Bedfordshire. Sung Chuan is a broad based martial arts system incorporating Shaolin Kung Fu and Chinese kick boxing. The training also emphasises the internal aspects of the art and includes Chi Kung breathing exercises and Tai Chi.

IMPAKT Kickboxing is NOT Thai Boxing (Muay Thai), Shotokan Karate, Freestyle Karate, Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Jui Jitsu, Krav Maga, Kickboxercise, Boxercise, Aerobics, Tae Bo, Khai Bo, the Martial Arts list goes on. Kickboxing exists because during the 1970's, Martial Artists across the globe wanted a system whereby they could compete on an equal footing, that is to say, exponents in the West i.e.

The GMax Academy is a friendly, community-based martial arts club providing tuition in traditional and modern Chinese martial arts, kickboxing, self defence, fitness and gymnastics, for children and adults. With an emphasis on self improvement, students not only learn from the physical benefits of martial arts training but also the science, culture and history of each discipline.

ACS Martial Arts, is one of the ACS physical activity services run by ACS MAGFA. ACS Martial Arts offers jujitsu martial arts classes including elements from Geoff Thompson's Real Combat system and self defence tuition regarding the use of reasonable force and edged weapons awareness.

Our goal is not only to improve each Childs Karate skills but to improve important life skills along the way, Focus, Self-Defence Confidence and Discipline to name just a few. These life skills are the building blocks for Children to succeed at school and in day to day life.
