S.M.A.R.T Martial Arts teaches a range of styles including Shotokan Karate, Basic Sport Karate, Freestyle Karate, Basic Self Defence, Street Defence, Soft Sword and more. S.M.A.R.T was founded on 10th January 2014 by Chief Instructors Brad Pinder and Brian Pinder and Assistant Instructor Bethany Pinder.

Established since 2004 we have helped 100's of children and adults to Be more and Live more We combine a combination of Martial arts from Freestyle Kickboxing, Karate, Tae Kwon Do and Krav Maga to make a really good all-round self protection system We recognise that Martial Arts is not just about Punching and Kicking though, it is about Self Development, our systems, classes and activities will help you not just become fitter, stronger and more flexible, but will develop focus, self-control, discipline and respect to name just a few, we understand that if you can focus your mind you can focus your body.

We are Modern Martial Arts. We are a training facility located in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and we teach martial arts to anyone from the age of 3 years. We have specialised classes according to age group and we pride ourselves in our welcoming, friendly, family orientated atmosphere.
