Alan Robinson Photography is a photographer based in the Barnsley area. Offering a full range of photography services, from wedding photography, with wedding packages to suit all, to commercial photography, we are friendly, professional and well established with over 27 years experience.

Established in 1984 long before digital photography made a big impact on the technology, progressing and moving on to become a limited company in 2008, Altered Images is now one of the longest established and respected photographic companies in Yorkshire.

If you’ve made it this far, you are likely interested in my work–so welcome! A bit about me: I’m a dad to two gorgeous and spunky little girls who are often the subjects of my lens; I’m also a partner to my wife who also works in the wedding industry and keeps me on my toes!

Just returned from London where I won the national Portrait Photographer of the Year Award. Chosen from over 1000 entries, a single makeover image of Georgia Austin from Doncaster won a trophy and a prize fund of £5000 which included £500 in cash for Georgia. Makeup artist on the session was Sally Morton and retoucher was Admir Alicic. Georgia (16) is planning on using the images from the session to launch a modelling career.

Hi, my name is Ozzie and I have over 14 years experience photographing weddings throughout Yorkshire and the rest of the UK. I photograph in a classical style but I also add a little bit of light-hearted fun. Every wedding is different and as individual as a couple’s personalities. I work together with each couple to capture how they ‘see’ their wedding day. Tears, laughter, joy and excitement are just some of the emotions captured forever and shared for generations to come.

My photojournalistic way of working is to let you enjoy your day, celebrate with your friends and family, laugh, joke and let me capture everything as it happens. That way the photos you receive will be true to your memories of the day. The relaxed approach, documenting the day as it happens naturally.

We offer a professional, efficient and friendly event photography service. Based in Yorkshire and covering the midlands and the north of England, we photograph events such as proms, graduation ceremonies, sports/football presentations, theatre and dance performances, corporate/military balls, parties and themed events.
