Clear Space is a specialist architecture and interior photography practice run by freelance photographer, Ed Robinson. Originally from the UK and now based in Lisbon, Portugal, Clear Space Photography creates and delivers dynamic and head-turning images that support businesses and brands.

Back when I was in secondary school became interested in photography through and art project, with the help of my father I set about taking images on An Olympus 35mm SLR with a black and white film, I enjoyed the results, learning about the technology and experimenting with different light effects, from that moment, I was sold. It would however be several years later that I finally purchased a DSLR.

I am a contemporary wedding photographer located near Sheffield, Yorkshire and I aim to capture the excitement and emotion of a couple’s wedding day. My style is a blend of natural reportage wedding photography and relaxed family photographs, combined with capturing creative moments with the bride and groom.

Choosing a photographer for your wedding day is a very personal choice. You need to be confident that the person you entrust will be able to do more than just record the key moments. A good wedding photographer should also be able to capture the romance and beauty of your special day, and produce images that will keep alive your memories long after the cake has been eaten and your flowers have faded.

Just returned from London where I won the national Portrait Photographer of the Year Award. Chosen from over 1000 entries, a single makeover image of Georgia Austin from Doncaster won a trophy and a prize fund of £5000 which included £500 in cash for Georgia. Makeup artist on the session was Sally Morton and retoucher was Admir Alicic. Georgia (16) is planning on using the images from the session to launch a modelling career.
