Philip Charles Photography’s professional studio is located in the heart of the Midlands, near Tamworth. Specialising in Family Portraits and Wedding Photography. We are a family run studio, and working with people is our passion. With our relaxed, approach we can put you at ease in front of the camera.

FLAIR PHOTOGRAPHY has been photographing weddings in Birmingham and the surrounding area for nearly 50 years and in that time has attended over 33,000 weddings. It is quite usual that couples who visited our website have previously known of someone that have used Flair as their wedding photographers and therefore have been recommended to find out more about our services. It is with pride that we know that now 2nd generations are using Flair as their wedding photographers.

I’ve been a wedding and family photographer for 10 years, so it’s fair to say you’re in safe hands. I live just outside Birmingham, with my husband, three teenage daughters and a dog called Buddy, who can’t fetch or catch anything but I have taught him to smile.

I’m married to Ben, who is a super talented carpenter, and cricketer, and the kindest man I know. I have the best two children that have ever graced the planet. Eva is my beautiful eight year old ballerina who thinks she is an adult, and Elijah is my five year old bundle of happiness who loves being a rockstar and Mary Poppins!

It’s not every day you will have a professional portrait taken, it’s something that many desire, but it’s usually prompted by a new arrival or special occasion. Portraits are more than just a photograph; they are a memory, an heirloom. Great portraits can offer a lasting memory and provide artistic decoration for the home. I now specialise in new born art.

I have been photographing professionally for the past 8 years and absolutely love what I do! As a busy Mum myself, I know how quickly your babies and children grow and change which is why it is so important to capture every moment possible, and I find it a complete honour and pleasure to photograph these special times for you. Photography is my passion, and I feel very fortunate to be doing something that I enjoy so much.

I've been taking pictures of people for over 20 years and I love it. Although I initially trained in fashion design and worked as a sportswear designer , my love of photography finally got the go ahead when I started Gecko Photography in 2006.
