David Mayor’s acupuncture clinic is the longest established acupuncture practice in mid-Herts. It is located close to the town centre in a private house in quiet Handside Lane, one of the original streets on the West Side of Welwyn Garden City. The house is set back a little way from the road.

I am an Acupuncturist and Herbalist in St Albans, Hertfordshire. For over 15 years I have been combining Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture/Fertility Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine) with massage, Shiatsu, dietary recommendations, life style advice, and breathing method for deep relaxation to give caring, supportive and effective treatment. The focus of treatment is to use Traditional Chinese diagnosis to improve the overall well being of the patient, promoting self-healing rather than the isolated treatment of specific symptoms.

For a number of lifestyle and environmental reasons, qi can become disturbed, depleted or blocked, which can result in some symptoms of some pain and illness or dis-ease. In certain instances, traditional acupuncture can be an effective therapy to help restore balance and promote physical and emotional harmony.
